    This is a very lucid and well reasoned comment. My own research has corroborated these assertions. In my own story described in “Boarding School” I lament on several occasions why it is that the authorities never happened upon us even though the entire population of New England, seemingly, knew right where to find us whenever they wanted to engage in the debouching of young boys.

    elites. There is evidence that state CPS
    officials are involved, as many kids are
    CPS’ed away from parents for little or

    This is why officials are so hysterical
    about “child molesters” behind every
    bush, because they try and throw
    suspicion off themselves. Remember

    Although it is possible to find my books in a regular book store and some have carried my books, in general I am not a big enough author yet to be carried in most book stores. But you should be able to walk into any Barns & Nobel or Boarders or places like that and ask them to order you a copy from Ingram’s. Thanks,

    I am sorry to hear of your experiences, but I salute your courage. No doubt you discovered that as an Academy kid, your world took on a normal quality to it even though the life you were living at the time was anything but normal.     Clint- I’m going to buy this book, simply because it resonates with me. I am still a High-schooler, and as a freshman I went to a ‘Therapeutic’ boarding school, a scarring experience. I agree with you, and support your openness on the issue. I have witnessed too many physical and sexual mishaps at crooked boarding schools and it must be stopped. The school I went to was called Hidden Lake Academy, which I no longer attend. Truly a sickening place. These things DO happen to normal people.

    Thank you very kindly for all of your information. Your school sounds like a very fine institution. You might check out the link page on my website for an article about an English Boarding School where the headmaster was in the practice of sexually initiating each of his male students once they turned 12. Abuse doesn’t happen everywhere, but it does happen. thanks again.

    I don’t think it is possible to totally stop abusers getting into these schools even though I know stringent Police searches are done on all applicants wanting to work in Boarding Schools. If you want to take a look at my old School then check out: The Royal Alexandra and Albert School. The School is older than the USA (251 yrs old) and is situated in 250 acres of historic parkland. 99% speak good of the school so it couldn’t have been that bad. I hope your book is a great success by the way.

    I’m pleased to hear that you made it through so well. Actually, the boarding school I attended after the one I write about in this book did the same good things for me. But even there, I knew about sexual abuse problems.

    Having said that I did hear of a Housemaster caught abusing the boys in his House, he was at the school when I was there but thankfully in another House.
    English Boarding Schools in those days were very strict and you could expect to get the slipper or the cane if you did wrong. We had to wear uniform at all times which included wearing short trousers until the age of 14. Prep was done each evening in silence everyday except for Saturday. These days it is all very different.     Hello Clint,

    I am sorry to hear of your terrible experiences at Boarding School. When I was 12 (1962) I was packed off to Boarding School here in England. It was a mixed school taking students (420) from the ages of 7-18. Today the school is the largest State Boarding School in England and I can only say it gave me confidence that was lacking in me.. At no time did I ever encounter any evidence of sexual abuse to any student. ,,,,,,,,,
