Boarding school can be a great experience, but your parents won't understand why you want to go, until they really understand what your goals are. My daughter is applying to boarding herself next year, but she's been pretty up-front why she wants to go: to get a better education. She found a blog and coincidentally the student and parent that are writing the blog, just wrote an article on convincing parents...
