Whats the difference between boarding school and day school?

I want to go to a boarding school but my mom *ugh* wants me to be a day student.

Boarding school is when students can live on campus. Day school is when students don’t have the option to live on campus. A lot of boarding schools also double as day schools, though. Plus, a lot of the time boarding schools do have a lot more opportunities than the average public school.

And I know how you feel. For the past year I’ve been begging my dad to let me go to boarding school. Idk if it will happen though….
