How important was your high school graduation to you?

My sister’s graduation from medical school is the same day as my graduation from high school. My family doesn’t know which one to go to.

How important was your high school graduation? Would you care if your family didn’t show up to yours?

I think the high school graduation is a LOT more important. Basically the med school graduate is an adult and not so closely connected to the family in a lot of ways. Also more importantly they are a lot more mature and able to handle and accept that sort of disappointment.

My graduation was not too important really, it was a small school and a very small ceremony. but I would have been unbelievably disappointed if my immediate family didn’t come. The rest of the family like cousins, aunts, grandparents etc not coming wouldn’t have made a difference to me.

It was important to me, only because I knew that once I received that diploma, I could walk out of there and never have to return. I couldn’t care less if my family was there or not.

high school is crap, no one cares about that, now compared to a medical degree that’s a real success and your sister deserves all the praise

the only reason why I showed up for my high school graduation is because all my friends were graduating too. but now that I’m about to get a bachelor degrees, that will matter more.

High school graduation was important, but my graduation from my University was even more important. So if you plan on graduating college I think you will appreciate that one more. I think half of your family should should go to yours and the other half to your sisters’ graduation.

    Congrats
