What high school to put on a job application?

I went to high school for 4 years, but then completed my courses at a different highschool and got my diploma there. So Do i put down 4 year high school, or the 2 months high school with diploma?

Name of High School
August(or September), whatever yr – whatever month, whatever year

Name of 2nd High School
Whatever month you started there, whatever year – whatever month you graduated, whatever year.

  2. I would put both high schools down and explain why in your application. Good Luck!

  3. When people ask about where you attended high school on an application, they are primarily referring to where you graduated. Usually there is only room for one. Where did you get your diploma? That’s what you put down. Anything else would be dishonest.

  4. I would list the high school you attended for 4 years, and if there’s a problem in the future, just tell them you were under the impression you were to list that particular high school. Just don’t lie about it if confronted. 99.9% of the time, employers will not investigate your high school records – they simply don’t have the manpower, money, or time!
