Which is the quickest way to become a primary school teacher for deaf children?

I want to become a primary school teacher for deaf children when I leave school but I’m not really sure about how to do so. I know what routes to take to become just a regular primary school teacher but how would I go about specializing in deaf?
Thanks.

Usually you do the standard teacher training and then do post-qualification training in teaching hearing impaired children. This website may give you useful information

  1. You would need to have earn a degree in special education and be certified to teach hearing-impaired students. This program is probably offered at least one of the public colleges in your state.
