How to get my parents to send me to a private school?

Posted on January 29th, 2010 by admin in private school | 4 Comments »

I really want to go to a Quaker School in the area. I don’t have that many friends and my problem is that i come off snobby because i have so many clothes and so many are designer. I really want to go to private school where i’ll fit in. What are some good things to say to my parents to get them to like private school? (money is not an issue, my parents love for me to go to school with a lot of jewish people)

I go to a Quaker school, and its great. Everyone is different and unique, but were all really great friends. Quakers believe in simplicity, peace, integrity, community, and equality — everyone is accepted, and in my opinion it’s a much nicer environment compared to other schools. Tell your parents that you think you’d be a better student at a private or independent school, and that you feel you aren’t doing the best you can at your current school.
Hope this helped!!! Vote me best answer!! :D

well maybe if ur parents aren’t gonna let u go u should wear more high street clothes? kids don’t like to be made to feel poor and have a constant reminder of what they’re missing out on. just show this question to ue mum and dad and they may see how serious u r about this! tell them ur un-happy, they will want the best for you cos they love you! Have a sensible, adult conversation about this and it may help them to see! x Good luck!

My opinion. Especially in secondary schools, children should be with their peers. There is enough pressure with classwork and homework and social interaction for teenagers to deal with. You should not have to deal with the multicultural problems forced on children in public schools. There is plenty of time as you mature into an adullt to interact with people of different backgrounds.

I think you should just tell them how big a deal this is for you, If you have good parents they should understand. However, you should also know that private school can be a lot stricter that public school. Some also require the use of a uniform. Make sure this is really what you want to do, and if it is make them see that. I hope your parents agree with you and can see why you want this
