This is so untrue, … This is so untrue, I went to a great public school in tenafly. They really care about providing a healthy lunch fir everyone. I dint know anyone who goes to a school like this but I feel really bad for them, the private school I go 2 now doesn’t even have a lunch program, how wonderful is that

We have a salad bar, and we always get fruit, milk, and carrots. Also, they have pizza/burgers, but they aren’t gonna kill you, since the portions are so small anyways.
They have chips and powerade, but that’s about it when it comes to horrible stuff. The chips are all those baked varieties and even then they have like, 5 chips in them.
I usually go ,”WTF?” when people say their school serves Red Bull and shit.
I stopped eating … I stopped eating school lunch eons ago. At my school, you have 25 mins to fight your way through the line and find a place to sit. I could buy the same stuff at Food Lion, it would taste better, be cheaper, and more than likely healthier. So this is just too true.

A bunch of neo-con writers blame it on socialism, liberal softenness, no competitiveness & politics as usual turned suburban public schools into ghettoized ones by PCness, bureaucrats, cheap politicians & teachers unions. What should we do? Get rid of public education? Get the neo-cons like Bush, Cheney, etc. not to cut public school spending! +

Also because of a incident in a public school somewhere in Texas Red Bull Drinks are not allowed. Because a kid drank ten cans in under a minute and went into a epileptic shock which almost killed him. However that may just be in a few areas since I noticed one at my little cousins high school.
it’s the government … it’s the government they run everything… even the armys so why not just take the books and equipment they need for schools. that is if they cant get a fare price, who the is going to stop them?
