With all due … With all due respect, I think you’re over-analyzing. It’s better to just lose your self in the story. It’s better to see some sort of action then just someone talking.
Fascinating story, … Fascinating story, but I hate the way TV makes people reconstruct their actions for the camera – the DJ finding the album in the charity shop, for example. It’s just so false.

Anyway, she typed the lyrics onto a sheet of paper, photocopied enough for everyone (with that wet, smelly purple ink) and she played her piano while the entire class sang these songs. She wasn’t even our music teacher, she was our class teacher. It was my favorite school year. Mrs. Shaffer, you rock!
This reminds me of … This reminds me of my 3rd grade teacher in 1974-75. She bought sheet music to hit songs like Black & White, Wildfire, Cats In The Cradle, Rhinestone Cowboy, Sing, and (gasp!) The Lord’s Prayer. Yes, we sang The Lord’s Prayer by Sister Janet Mead in public school.
why arent the … why arent the sschools getting real and back to this sort of thing which kids love and not the crap they get buried in these days when the Bush govt cut back so many music and culture programs.
