Sniper School part 1/5

Travel to Fort Benning, GA, where soldiers fresh from basic training are trained in marksmanship, intelligence gathering, camouflage and survival in a grueling 5-week program. These soldiers are the Top Guns from their units. They’ve been selected to enter one of the Army’s most difficult training schools sniper school!

Sniper school is part boot camp, survival school and psychological stress center. If these soldiers graduate, they will become part of one of the most elite groups of U.S. soldiers.

    It’s not that tough if you’re mentally strong. Contrary to popular belief, drill sargeants aren’t the biggest anymore. they really only yell if your falling behind after the first few weeks.

    true … basic training is not hard for thoes who are used to running and doing physical stuff… ( thats wht iv heard)

    It’s near impossible.

    You have to be THE BEST of your basic training and AIT. And that’s only maybe 5 people from each basic squad. Out of 5 people, 4 will drop out at least, or can’t do the sniper school.
