I go to a Catholic high school (despite my Atheism), and unlike all of the public high schools in my area, we don’t give out free condoms at the nurse’s room. It’s pretty saddening, because my school also has the highest pregnancy rate in the entire district. You’d think that upon discovering this statistic something would be done about it, but I suppose it’s more important to preach about a false god than to protect youth. At least to the people in charge of today’s minors seem to think so…

listen i agree with you. but what you say doesnt realy matter. cause lets be honest, alot of teenagers are stupid, and want to have sex cause of their racing hormones, but are to embarrassed to buy condoms themselves or talk to a grown up about it.
I think they should just get the condoms themselves and i really actually don’t think its right for kids so young to be having sex, but reality is reality and they are gonna do it no matter what.

Blaming condoms for underage sex is like like blaming guns for killing people or the spoon for Rosie O’Donnell being fat. It’s the person that makes the decisions. This comment sounds like it’s coming from a brainwashed catholic. Sexual activity will occur with or without condoms. Condoms simply prevent the downfalls of this activity which have been built into our internally driven sexual nature. If this doesn’t apply to you, you have no worries.
