Getting funding for a secondary school teaching qualification in Scotland?

I am pretty much at the end of my road in my current career, and after giving a lot of thought want to explore the prospect of re-training to be a secondary school teacher in business studies after spending several years working in industry. According to the government, business studies is considered a priority subject on one of their websites. My question is with regard to funding. Will I be able to get full funding to teach in a priority subject as I already have a postgraduate qualification in business? What are my chances?

Yes you will but only because it is a priority subject. You have already had post grad funding which would normally discount you but they want you so you’ll be ok.
