What would be a good funraiser for a secondary school?

I am principal of a secondARY SCHOOL and i need to raise some money for our school and to kids in Poverty. It would be nice if you could help me help!

  1. Have a food fair, performances and games. Have the kids from the school to bring in things that they are willing to give away to sell. If you want it to be a big event, get the press invited for publicity and get a small-time celeb if possible to perform or something but you need to advertise aggressively to get more to come. It’s all for a good cause anyhoo!

  3. at our school we did a 10 mile sponsored walk on the second last day of term, that the whole school had to take part in, with everyone raising a minimum of £10 to raise money for a new sports hall- apparently it would have raised about £10,000 but im not sure if we got that much or not
