—————————————
Plymouth College is in talks about giving a place to Olympic diver Tom Daley amid claims of bullying at his school, Eggbuckland Community College.

Plymouth College – which prides itself on its swimming programme – confirmed it had talked to Tom’s father.

Eggbuckland said that its policy was to deal firmly with bullying.

Plymouth College headmaster Dr Simon Wormleighton said: “Nothing has been agreed at the moment, but we would be very interested.”

“The school would be well suited to him.”

He said that the school, which has a number of national swimming awards, was regarded as one of the best in the country for swimming.

Tom, 14, from Plymouth, was on the British team at the Beijing games and earlier this week won silver at the World Series in Sheffield.

Mr Wormleighton said that the school had a long record of taking in elite sports pupils.

“We are well set up to meet Tom’s needs.”

“We have a tradition of a flexible academic programme for international athletes.”

His father Rob said: “We have had discussions with Plymouth College, but they are at their initial stages.”

“Every parent has a responsibility to make sure that their children have the best.”

Tom said this week that the bullying was not “high-level” but “everyone in the school” was doing it.

Tom said: “It’s not getting to me, as in the words are upsetting me, it’s just the fact that I can’t have a normal school life like everybody else.”

“It’s not high-level bullying, just name calling, someone chucking a bit of paper at you, tipping your pencil case out.”

“After the Olympics it went mad… everyone that you walk past has a little dig at you.”

He said he had not been back to school since before the Easter holidays and had considered changing schools.

Katrina Borowski, principal of Eggbuckland Community College, said: “Tom’s extremely high profile has led to a minority of students acting in an immature way towards him.”

“All involved in his education are supporting him as best we can and immediate action was taken to address concerns raised.”

Indoctrination of our Children, in Public Schools (The Glen Beck Program) Pt. 1 of 4

Posted on May 13th, 2010 by admin in public schools | 25 Comments »

In case you missed watching this program (3/5/10), here it is.
Anyone in the know, already knows this is going on anyway, but, most parents may be in the dark as to what their kid’s minds are being filled with in the public schools. Christianity is being squeezed out, American capitalism is being smothered, and a new one world, atheistic, socialist mentality is being poured into our children’s spongy minds. ‘Progressive’ is the new liberalism, threatening our freedoms in America.

The way Barack Obama is wanting to shove a complete overhaul of our healthcare system down our throats (70% are against Obama’s plan), proves the extreme lengths the progressives and socialists are willing to go, to get their way.

Try to watch an old Walt Disney WWII cartoon called,”Education For Death” (Can be found on YouTube). The cartoon shows Hitler and the Nazis indoctrinating children using pressured tactics… not much difference, when watching how older school and college students have been brainwashed thinking,”evolution is a fact”, while all the evidence says differently. Our children are even being taught to worship Barack Obama!!! How creepy does that sound?? Can you say ANTICHRIST??!!??!! Even if Obama isn’t THE antichrist, the spirit of antichrist is definitely alive and well on our planet. More than ever, every person needs to repent of their sins, turn their lives over to Jesus, and read the New Testament, starting with the Book of John, then Romans, then keep going… in order to build faith, and to know God’s Will for their lives. Sin is eating this world up quickly, and only the people who have built their life’s foundation on Jesus Christ will endure, in these last days.
